My first Mabel - have plans for several more. Really nice, basic, quick to make, pull on pencil skirt.<br />
<br />
<br />
And comfy!<br />
<br />
Next in black.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I made Version 3 but decided to cut the front out in one piece - didn't feel like putting out too much effort on my muslin. Love the kick pleat and the length just below my knee.<br />

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jKR6X7Oip3w/U__BPd78T_I/AAAAAAAAAyE/2Adda2irkB4/s1600/DSCF4845.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jKR6X7Oip3w/U__BPd78T_I/AAAAAAAAAyE/2Adda2irkB4/s1600/DSCF4845.JPG" height="320" width="244" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Started with a very plain simple necklace in a colour I love. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GaCOGZi_hF8/U__BiTLYWCI/AAAAAAAAAyU/FA3paE-zSzg/s1600/DSCF4929.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GaCOGZi_hF8/U__BiTLYWCI/AAAAAAAAAyU/FA3paE-zSzg/s1600/DSCF4929.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then.....the make-up bag for my daughter was completed. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3ymsLTYWcc8/U__BYjCAGvI/AAAAAAAAAyM/GmgU3ibL4hg/s1600/DSCF4939.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3ymsLTYWcc8/U__BYjCAGvI/AAAAAAAAAyM/GmgU3ibL4hg/s1600/DSCF4939.JPG" height="283" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pleased with how it turned out. Lined with a wipe clean nylon fabric. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3NQYnBLSRU4/U__Ct293SYI/AAAAAAAAAyw/DUdvqeooYBk/s1600/DSCF5343.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3NQYnBLSRU4/U__Ct293SYI/AAAAAAAAAyw/DUdvqeooYBk/s1600/DSCF5343.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My version of the Mabel by Colette. Made it in black too. Love them!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9w9FSpXl8JM/U__CZz7_HEI/AAAAAAAAAyg/MxiPkrh_xjw/s1600/DSCF5349.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9w9FSpXl8JM/U__CZz7_HEI/AAAAAAAAAyg/MxiPkrh_xjw/s1600/DSCF5349.JPG" height="320" width="225" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
My first Jalie - Dolman top - love it too. Awesome range of sizes. Many more to come!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-amBZvwCqtmc/U__DG9i4imI/AAAAAAAAAzA/xc_o552FgJQ/s1600/DSCF5347.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-amBZvwCqtmc/U__DG9i4imI/AAAAAAAAAzA/xc_o552FgJQ/s1600/DSCF5347.JPG" height="320" width="197" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
A top started at least 10 years ago.........based on an old pattern from McCall's. Greatly enlarged....</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RIGE3vHrMEc/U__DJpw6fMI/AAAAAAAAAzI/H5nYR-aVhfM/s1600/DSCF5358.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RIGE3vHrMEc/U__DJpw6fMI/AAAAAAAAAzI/H5nYR-aVhfM/s1600/DSCF5358.JPG" height="320" width="160" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
An old Kwik Sew pattern #2306. Fabric turned out to be much stretchier than I thought. Could have gone down a size at least. Not really what I envisioned. lol But recently found a pattern at Value Village which seems my vision...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9FZ1ImaiPtY/U__DFMcwYnI/AAAAAAAAAy4/UfCzsrXBV9o/s1600/DSCF5381.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9FZ1ImaiPtY/U__DFMcwYnI/AAAAAAAAAy4/UfCzsrXBV9o/s1600/DSCF5381.JPG" height="320" width="176" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tank based on my favorite knit top pattern....New Look 6735. I ruched the sides with elastic, then decided to do the same with the shoulder straps.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-01icjMFseIA/U__DLtr8WwI/AAAAAAAAAzQ/tNkE0JyzCV8/s1600/DSCF5382.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-01icjMFseIA/U__DLtr8WwI/AAAAAAAAAzQ/tNkE0JyzCV8/s1600/DSCF5382.JPG" height="320" width="147" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
An old tank...I'm bigger now and.... shorter tops were in style...lol I still need to decrease the belly girth! But added Double 2.5 inch band to the bottom.</div>

Decided to turn some pretty poly jersey fabric into a cute light weight summer dress. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This fabric drapes beautifully giving the gathered skirt a really feminine appeal. Still to be hemmed and photographed on my body. I love the fit and it's very comfortable.</div>

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EHxBWaPua3s/UwF01eqfryI/AAAAAAAAAmE/75W5kPbUxG4/s1600/DSCF4111.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EHxBWaPua3s/UwF01eqfryI/AAAAAAAAAmE/75W5kPbUxG4/s1600/DSCF4111.JPG" height="320" width="236" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finished the apron and made a pair of matching pot holders. I love the gathered skirt so much! And the big pockets. I quilted as I went for the pot holders. So fast and easy!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y5NbsKC-X0U/UwF3P-Fh34I/AAAAAAAAAnA/mCZxZFoZ7Jg/s1600/DSCF4146.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y5NbsKC-X0U/UwF3P-Fh34I/AAAAAAAAAnA/mCZxZFoZ7Jg/s1600/DSCF4146.JPG" height="303" width="320" /> </a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, the gathered waist on the apron got me thinking about some summer dress sewing. So I dug up some suitable fabrics from my stash. Three cottons cotton/blends and a lovely border print rayon. The rayon will gather so beautifully without a lot of bulk. </div>
<br /><div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SZEdCC_hJDc/UwF1Ep-PwJI/AAAAAAAAAmY/hJ1Uot_vxQ8/s1600/DSCF4118.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SZEdCC_hJDc/UwF1Ep-PwJI/AAAAAAAAAmY/hJ1Uot_vxQ8/s1600/DSCF4118.JPG" height="247" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
It will become my first <i><a href="http://www.sewaholicpatterns.com/">Cambie</a><u><a href="http://www.sewaholicpatterns.com/"> dress.</a></u> </i> I just love the waistline and the sweetheart neckline. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Then I found some floral sheer fabric I bought two years ago. And a remnant I think would be the perfect lining. I just have to decide on a style I like. I like the shape of both dress patterns shown below. I'd go knee length though. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Least of last was my funny <b>Valentine</b> dress!! Made from a couple pieces of fabric found at Value Village last fall. I bought it with the intent of making my granddaughter a Christmas dress otherwise I wouldn't have had any red fabric on hand - I never wear red! So it was a fun project and I used up every bit of fabric. The lace has been in my stash for 30 years........</div>

I finally finished my daughter Jo's duvet cover- a full year after it was meant to be completed. It is lovely though. Much love went into it. Decided to finish it with black snaps rather than buttons. Looks like I was learning how to create links. Mmm, funny only one seems to have worked.<br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">November 2012</span></div>
It's that time of year again and I have to get my projects in a row. I always have so many things I want to make. This year is no exception! I've been buying yarn at Micheal's for the last two weeks at awesome prices...plus the senior's discount!!! So, now I need to get going and create. I've started one of my daughters a pair crocheted knee socks to wear in her new, expensive ..........rubber boots. I found the pattern (here) it uses worsted weight yarn. Of course, I'm worrying that they'll be too thick. So today I bought some Patons, Kroy Sock yarn. I must learn how to knit socks!!!! I also am making a South Bay Shawlette in grey Bernat Softee Baby yarn for the same daugther. <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/south-bay-shawlette">http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/south-bay-shawlette</a><br />

Daughter # 2 will be getting my planned for quick and easy crochet infinity scarf shown here............this time in Vanna's Choice 'Barley' a really pretty light-ish brown tweed. I fell in love with the colour of the Red Heart "Soft' - I'm dreaming about a pretty scarf for me with that one, they call it 'Toast' but I call it coppery I'm still working on the black crocheted blanket! It's coming along and could be finished by Christmas - but no promises!! LOL <br />
This I plan to make all the females in my life make-up type bags. I went through my ever growing zipper inventory (thanks Value Village!) and discovered I could make at least 50 of them..... oh my. <br />
<h2>
I want to make my only grand-daughter & her mom a pair of matching Pj's. Really cute purple & pink heart flannel. My mom gets a pair of fleece slippers. I need to figure out something for the men in my life next. Any ideas? Crocheted hats for winter, maybe a scarf. </h2>

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">Hats</span></div>
It all started when I bought my grand-daughter a fleece jacket from Costco in Bellingham . It was so cute but I knew it needed something else - a hat in pink or maybe striped, incorporating all the colours. Then I thought why not make both. And I love how they turned out! They went up to Quesnel with my youngest daughter this weekend so I hope I get pics of my little Dalie modelling them soon. <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then I started looking at the doll I made Dalie in the summer & I thought 'she needs a hat' too and why not use up the left over pink yarn to do it? She looks cute as a button although I wish I had embroidered a smile on her face. Black shoes and a jacket are next, then off she goes in the mail for Christmas!</div>

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4xgz3726Th8/T5uAmvrtB-I/AAAAAAAAAbM/PSeOaayz1Zg/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4xgz3726Th8/T5uAmvrtB-I/AAAAAAAAAbM/PSeOaayz1Zg/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I finally got to my local fabric store.....it's been several LONG months - I was experiencing withdrawal symptons - you know, getting hot & sweaty at the mere mention bolts etc. <br />
<br />
It's so hard to decide, so I took a few pics of some fabric I liked. This stretchy lace is beautiful but it sure looks like it'll snag easily. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lewnGbPl2so/T5uA5asPjKI/AAAAAAAAAbU/kmDlmISnzcs/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lewnGbPl2so/T5uA5asPjKI/AAAAAAAAAbU/kmDlmISnzcs/s320/002.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I love black & white prints. Mostly all rayon-poly blends - nothing interesting in knits. I wish buyers up here would scout out more fun knit fabrics.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2S4kgRNRQag/T5uBMTgwwRI/AAAAAAAAAbc/ofjAJ2tTrkk/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2S4kgRNRQag/T5uBMTgwwRI/AAAAAAAAAbc/ofjAJ2tTrkk/s320/003.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Maybe there's not as much demand for it - judging from what I see on many blogs - a lot of people still think working with knits is difficult. But nothing could be further from the truth. I love sewing knits- so fast & easy - me likey a lot!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JKAfUzNOli8/T5uBfVrdzHI/AAAAAAAAAbk/45xd-C6szx4/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JKAfUzNOli8/T5uBfVrdzHI/AAAAAAAAAbk/45xd-C6szx4/s320/004.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
There were some fun polka dot blends, lots of colours. I have no idea what I'd make. I just like polka dots.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Gj_6rbTdPJY/T5uBygorwxI/AAAAAAAAAbs/xd3UTXwl0WY/s1600/005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Gj_6rbTdPJY/T5uBygorwxI/AAAAAAAAAbs/xd3UTXwl0WY/s320/005.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
This challis print would make a nice dress or a skirt .......mmmmmmmmmmm<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t20VEh9r_Xc/T5uBzC1WOYI/AAAAAAAAAbw/Z8igNuOUPU4/s1600/my+ryan+fold+fabric.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t20VEh9r_Xc/T5uBzC1WOYI/AAAAAAAAAbw/Z8igNuOUPU4/s400/my+ryan+fold+fabric.jpg" width="262" /></a></div>
And then of course Ryan offered to help fold it all for me....that's when I woke up without fabric or Ryan. Of course I was broken hearted....Sewanonymous and So Much Morehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14858780762974119542noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1281615957601528876.post-79741219203697695952012-03-27T22:13:00.001-07:002012-03-27T22:13:54.430-07:00Healthy Meatless Dinner Recipes<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Well I hope you like eating healthy as much as I do. Sometimes instead of tofu I'll brown chopped chicken breast with the onions, etc......hmmm. I'm not a vegetarian, but I do feel better since I've started eating meatless meals 3 or 4 times a week. I've also noticed I have less craving for sweets ( my weekness) and I'm losing weight without even trying - especially in the stomach area!! What's not to love?!</div>

Work on the black afghan for my daughter is progressing. She didn't want anything holey so I'm using stable stitches that produce a thick fabric. I've always wanted to do a highly textured blanket. </div>

Sheesh, I haven't posted in so long!! Went to Cuba, loved the country!! Beautiful sand, beach & people. Things didn't go so well though...................let us just say I'm single again. That's ok though. I am used to being on my own. I have finally lost 6 lbs!!! No more late night snacks. <br />
Finished my black & white print dress in time for my trip - no pic yet. It's comfy & cute. I was happy with it. Started another dress but did not finish it yet. Have not got back into sewing yet. <br />
I haven't been doing too much - came back to find out my ei ran out. So, I`ve been appling for jobs & looking into retraining. I have lots of experience but nothing on paper. At my age, you need both!! <br />

I`ve been making extremely yummy healthy food lately. This dish consists of one chicken breast sliced up , fried with onion, garlic & olive oil till almost done. Then I added snow peas, shredded cabbage & yellow pepper. I used Chipolte sauce for the seasoning. Then I stirred in some prepared brown rice & quinoa. Hmmmm, it was delish!!!! <br />

I measure 40x33x40 - so why did I trace this Kwik Sew in Medium? <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nf4elQeSHzI/Ty8y8G5jdoI/AAAAAAAAAXE/3BJWbrtK3Ec/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nf4elQeSHzI/Ty8y8G5jdoI/AAAAAAAAAXE/3BJWbrtK3Ec/s320/002.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

I love the style & that it drapes so beautifully since it's cut on the bias. And...I added 1" inch to all seams! We'll see how it fits. I've worked hard to eat less & work out out more since the second week of January. Heading way south towards the end of February. Can hardly wait! <br />

Didn't have enough fabric but that's OK - I had plenty of scraps to piece together for the neck & armhole bindings. I swear I'll post pics of the finished dress.<br />

I'm only too happy to share it with her.She wears it as a scarf with the point in front & it looks fabulous on her!Sewanonymous and So Much Morehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14858780762974119542noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1281615957601528876.post-43713091843606491692012-01-15T17:12:00.000-08:002012-01-15T17:12:07.753-08:00Warm Weather Dress & Tulips On A Winter Day<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

Last week I began one part of my New Years Plan - to get back in shape. I belong to Curves, it's a nice workout for the mature women....LOL So I went 5 days in a row, missed Saturday & worked out at home on Sunday. I've been watching my food intake & I ended up throwing the rest of my Christmas chocolate into the trash - there wasn't much left at all, but it was very symbolic for me! Not soon enough though :(<br />
I had to add an extra 1/2" to the sides of my pattern. I'm OK with that cause I know I will fit a size 12 this year! My tummy already feels smaller. Yeah!!<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The fabric is a poly knit, really slippery but very nice drape.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
I started sewing it today & aside from the slipperiness, it's going to be a breeze to make. I dropped the back neckline about 6". I don't get why a lot of summery dresses have neck hugging backs. The gathered section in the front will be quite a bit lower too. I'll see when I get there.<br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

Pretty but.............Spring's a lot prettier!! Still making earwarmers, I posted them on Ravelry. I really need to figure out how to link to other sites this year. I wish I could share my Pinterst too. I'm so addicted to that site. <br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="text-align: justify;"> </span><span style="text-align: justify;">I love this cuff style of bracelet. This one is for my daughter. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MevTiiaeuso/TvpGKopYLGI/AAAAAAAAAS0/tX9atkuUgx0/s1600/new+cam+060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MevTiiaeuso/TvpGKopYLGI/AAAAAAAAAS0/tX9atkuUgx0/s320/new+cam+060.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I <span style="text-align: justify;">added a charm to each end. Cute eh?</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pg5Z_5Tyb70/TvpGOlDTEAI/AAAAAAAAAS8/bpwLj-xCBBQ/s1600/new+cam+062.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pg5Z_5Tyb70/TvpGOlDTEAI/AAAAAAAAAS8/bpwLj-xCBBQ/s320/new+cam+062.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Single strand bracelet using 'Tiger Tail Wire'. I mastered crimping. Yeah!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rgWGgiJawfM/TvpGSQH-jZI/AAAAAAAAATE/C90pTVlrHfQ/s1600/new+cam+063.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rgWGgiJawfM/TvpGSQH-jZI/AAAAAAAAATE/C90pTVlrHfQ/s320/new+cam+063.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Now for my other daughter. She asked for purple beads.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3DAyW_htx0w/TvpGWFRkEQI/AAAAAAAAATM/rUdxYFvNbXo/s1600/new+cam+064.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3DAyW_htx0w/TvpGWFRkEQI/AAAAAAAAATM/rUdxYFvNbXo/s320/new+cam+064.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I tried a few different formats Memory wire & the Tiger Tail. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yeu8AHi5V44/TvpGZ4hYYwI/AAAAAAAAATU/6ai1zGK2ggg/s1600/new+cam+065.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yeu8AHi5V44/TvpGZ4hYYwI/AAAAAAAAATU/6ai1zGK2ggg/s320/new+cam+065.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Plain small beads between or gold colour spacers...hmmmmmm.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SRR9VZ35wWI/TvpGdjX-IUI/AAAAAAAAATc/5czEnW7IGrE/s1600/beading+001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SRR9VZ35wWI/TvpGdjX-IUI/AAAAAAAAATc/5czEnW7IGrE/s320/beading+001.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TCcnYcJViAA/TvpGhWBg4cI/AAAAAAAAATk/Hi8IQ-hvzRU/s1600/beading+002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TCcnYcJViAA/TvpGhWBg4cI/AAAAAAAAATk/Hi8IQ-hvzRU/s320/beading+002.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Then I left that for a while............<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2FsmpZuWVKE/TvpGlGDzB4I/AAAAAAAAATs/9HrHla13oGM/s1600/beading+003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2FsmpZuWVKE/TvpGlGDzB4I/AAAAAAAAATs/9HrHla13oGM/s320/beading+003.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
And made myself a four strand bracelet. It was super easy. The beads came strung together already.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XSFUT7F8xz8/TvpGozWTDeI/AAAAAAAAAT0/hC06faoB8dY/s1600/beading+004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XSFUT7F8xz8/TvpGozWTDeI/AAAAAAAAAT0/hC06faoB8dY/s320/beading+004.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I just took them apart and made them into lengths long enough to fit around my wrist, taking into account the size of the clasp. I had two bead left over! I went to Michaels' boxing day sale, so I'm pretty happy with the cost incurred. The bead length was $5.99 less 25% & I already had the clasp. Now, for somewhere to wear it................ah, something will come up, no doubt.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4wt_Pwx_ZhY/TvpGwWcmOQI/AAAAAAAAAUE/829yIT8Y22c/s1600/beading+006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4wt_Pwx_ZhY/TvpGwWcmOQI/AAAAAAAAAUE/829yIT8Y22c/s320/beading+006.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Did I mention that I<i> really love </i>cuff bracelets!
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Z7i4DcOn8Gw/TvpG0L7ky5I/AAAAAAAAAUM/I6OuWBR63zE/s1600/beading+007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Z7i4DcOn8Gw/TvpG0L7ky5I/AAAAAAAAAUM/I6OuWBR63zE/s320/beading+007.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
So pretty!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NcxtGYYqZBc/TvpG3kxL7QI/AAAAAAAAAUU/IB8JlqX3gt8/s1600/beading+008.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NcxtGYYqZBc/TvpG3kxL7QI/AAAAAAAAAUU/IB8JlqX3gt8/s320/beading+008.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
So, back to Case's bracelet, I decided to go with the memory wire & the gold spacers.<br />
I had to go back to Michaels' for more beads, <br />
luckily they had one pack left. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fdJK-0iU_P0/TvpG7WcqOzI/AAAAAAAAAUc/Ige2mwiJtLE/s1600/beading+009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fdJK-0iU_P0/TvpG7WcqOzI/AAAAAAAAAUc/Ige2mwiJtLE/s320/beading+009.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
It's kind of heavy for the memory wire I have.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zEK-nqTl_XI/TvpG_CIonDI/AAAAAAAAAUk/WLiqIl0ZlKA/s1600/beading+010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zEK-nqTl_XI/TvpG_CIonDI/AAAAAAAAAUk/WLiqIl0ZlKA/s320/beading+010.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I'm thinking I'll restring them on Tiger Tail and add a clasp instead. It is pretty though.<br />
Next, I'm going to tackle earrings. The possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!<br />
<br />
